(is that correct english?!) perhaps you will like the site and decided like me to join it.

i love you all. thank you for all your prayers, support and love during these past 2 years. i've enjoyed your friendship, caring and jokes. this is not goodbye...

  • recap

so it's time to update. so much has happened... let me try to remember: mid march we had visitors from pittsburgh temple. their youth group came for a ministry weekend. they helped us during our home league toy sale (in time for easter) by setting up, praying for people and giving out flyiers for palm sunday and the regular activities. then we were off to neighborhood visitation adn open air. it was great, we held it at a local park where teens were playing basketball and we were a hit. we didn't see them at church on sunday but the word was sown.

holy week was incredible, for midweek services we set up the fellowship hall with worship stations depicting Jesus' last week on earth, it was so touching to see our people participate at every station with an open mind and a willing spirit. on thursday we held a seder meal (passover) everyone took part and helped somehow, setting up, cooking. it was an incredible wirship experience, we actually tasted foods jesus ate that thursday night, and learned why. we closed the week with the good friday service. a centurion took us from jesus' trial through his crucifiction, with songs and scripture readings in between. it was very emotional as the centurion broke into tears describing jesus' death.

easter sunday services ran so smoothly: nothing went wrong and i still can't believe it! sunrise service, men's club cooked breakfast, easter egg hunt outside (it was chilly!) and easter service. lots of pictures taken by our corps photographer: that's right we have one now!!! but she hasn't given me the pics cd yet.

then there was david's all state chorus concert!!! what an unforgettable experience for david and i. it was held in wheeling, wv. the officers there were so kind to let us use the corps apartment. very nice. so lydia and i spent most of thursday and friday commuting back and forth between the apartment and where rehearsals were held. the concert was at 7:30 pm at the moundsville high school. the choir director was so incredibly talented, the kids had a blast. it was just so great to see david's face while singing, it was a mixture of joy and excitement and passion all at once. we ordered a dvd of the concert, because my camera wasn't good enough. in case you didn't know, i'm very proud of my boy.

youth councils came and went. i couldn't enjoy it because i missed friday (all state chorus) and i was in bed, sick (i'll spare you the details... gross!) for most of saturday. i attended the sunday service but could not fully enjoy it since i was so weak from the day before and still feeling sick. the highlight of the weekend was of course clarksburg timbrel drill . that's because i missed the musical being that i was sick.

my brother and his family came form florida that same weekend and stayed with us the rest of the week. that means we ate really good!!! gilda is a great cook! it was good to see the cousins together, playing and having fun. wonderful time. we went to pittsburgh for a day and took some pics and i share them here with you:

we're now in dallas at rick's parents. we're on vacation this week since it's david's spring break, thank you Jesus! we need it. we had a wonderful two day trip. lydia doesn't travel well, but i guess so many people were praying for her that she was great! i'm proud of her too. it was a truly enjoyable ride.

we attended temple yesterday and today went to the zoo. by 3 pm we were all wore out!!! lydia behaved sooooooooo good! she rode a pony and enjoyed all animals, she looked so happy. it was a good day. we were vey tired but rick had enough energy left to go to cosco!!! he loves that kind of stores! he's a sam's club freak! he brought back all kinds of goodies (including my favorite icecream). i could post today's pics at the zoo, but rick took my camera cable and never put it back where it belong so we didn't bring it!!! yes, i'm upset with him right now. don't worry it will last about a minute and a half (after all he bought me clothes, stylish clothes my size!) i'll post vacation pics when we get back home.

for this week we're planning to do some shopping, some pampering, some more shopping, a zafari and a date night somewhere there.

this is a very long post, you probably gave up on it long ago, for those of you who stuck with me till the end, thanks and God bless you! good night!

(i know i have more to share, but i can't remember now... sorry... spell checker is not working, please forgive my english)

o, i almost forgot, please pray for our corps, not necesarily the church, but the appointment. no need to go into details, just pray, the Lord knows. thanks!!!
